JIFSAN sent a team of instructors to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia to deliver another Food Inspector Training (FIT) Program the week of October 27-31, 2014.

The program was conducted through collaboration with the International Food Safety Training Centre (IFSTC) of the Food Safety and Quality Division of the Ministry of Health-Malaysia.

Twenty-six participants, most of whom were official food inspectors, completed the course. During the one day of industry visits mock inspections were conducted at processing facilities for canned beverages and seafood.
