Rushing to participate in 2014 World Spice Congress in India

Dr. Jim Rushing, Manager of International Food Safety Training Programs at JIFSAN, has been invited by the India Spices Board to deliver a presentation during the 2014 World Spice Congress in Cochin, India February 16-19. His presentation will address Agricultural Practices-Critical Factors in Food Safety to be presented during the session on Engaging Research to Meet Industry Challenges. After the Congress he and Dr. Clare Narrod will meet with Indian officials to review progress with the establishment of a food safety Collaborative Training Center, the associated monitoring and evaluation program, and attend an industry training exercise.
