JIFSAN Delivers a CSPF Training Course in Thailand
The CSPF training team traveled to Bangkok, Thailand from November 5-9, 2013. The program sponsors included the Department of Food Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, King Mongkutt’s University of Technology Thonburi (KMUTT), and the National Food Institute (NFI) in Thailand. George Evancho, Raymond Carroll, and Michael Kravchuk led the training, which included classroom presentations as well as a field trip to a processing company, where participants conducted a mock inspection and review of processing activities.
This course had 40 participants, representing 14 industries and universities in Thailand. 10 participants will complete Phase 2 of the CSPF training, which will be conducted in May 2014.
