JIFSAN partnered with the U.S. FDA and the Indonesia Ministry of Marine Affairs and Fisheries Fish Quarantine and Inspection Agency (FQIA) to conduct a Train-the-Trainer program on Good Fishing Vessel Practices (GFvP). The five-day program took place in Jakarta, Indonesia and was successful in training 26 Indonesian participants. Most of the trainees are members of the Ministry of Marine Affairs and Fisheries and/or the FQIA.

JIFSAN Set to Deliver a Food Inspector Training Program in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia (October 27-31, 2014)
JIFSAN will be sending a team of instructors to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
The CSPF training team traveled to Bangkok, Thailand from November 5-9, 2013. The program sponsors included the Department of Food Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, King Mongkutt’s University of Technology Thonburi (KMUTT), and the National Food Institute (NFI) in Thailand.
The FIT program training team traveled directly from Malaysia to Shenzhen, China to deliver another FIT program from October 9-14 in collaboration with the China Inspection and Quarantine Association and the Certification and Accreditation Administration.

A JIFSAN Train-the-Trainer course for Good Agricultural Practices (GAP) was conducted in Mexico City, Mexico from July 22-26, 2013.

Phase II of the Food Safety and Supply Chain Management for Spices and Botanical Ingredients program was delivered in Maryland and Mississippi for participants selected from the 2012 pilot program in India.
A JIFSAN Train-the-Trainer program for Good Aquaculture Practices was conducted in Cochin from March 2-8, 2013, and in Nellore from March 11-15, and included the Basic Seafood HACCP course.
The JIFSAN Train-the-Trainer course for Good Agriculture Practices (GAP) was conducted from February 18-22, 2013 in Kingston, Jamaica.
The JIFSAN Train-the-Trainer course for Good Agriculture Practices (GAP) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) was conducted from January 14-18, 2013 in Quito, Ecuador.
